In a significant stride towards environmental conservation, we have established a partnership with TakaTaka Solutions, an esteemed organization specializing in the recycling of plastic bottles and promoting eco-friendly practices. This collaboration has enabled us to provide comprehensive training sessions to our members and various community individuals, focusing on crucial themes such as environmental conservation and Gender-Based Violence (GBV). The engagement has been instrumental in raising awareness and equipping our community with the knowledge and tools necessary to contribute positively to our environment and societal wellbeing.

PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT AND EVALUATION

A key component of our initiative is the educational advancement of the children at our center. In this regard, we convened a meeting with the parents to evaluate the progress and development of their children. This interactive session served as an open dialogue, feedback, and discussion on ways to further support the children’s learning journey, ensuring they receive the best possible opportunities for growth and success.

In our request to broaden our scope and enhance our offerings, we have reached out to additional Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) by sending partnership letters. These efforts aim to foster collaboration and secure support for our various programs, expanding our capacity to serve the community effectively.

UPCOMING PARTNERSHIP WITH AMALA EDUCATION
USHIRIKIANO UJAO NA ELIMU YA AMALA
We are currently in the process of formalizing a partnership with Amala Education through a Memorandum of Understanding. This collaboration will introduce three pivotal courses to our curriculum: Leadership and Conflict Resolution, English Course for Change makers, and Entrepreneurship. These courses are designed to empower Refugees with essential skills for personal development, effective communication, and economic independence. A critical requirement for the successful implementation of these courses is the provision of Wi-Fi connectivity to facilitate online learning and research for our learners. Efforts are underway to meet this requirement and ensure our learners have the resources they need to succeed.
Kwa sasa tuko katika mchakato wa kurasimisha ushirikiano na Amala Education kupitia Mkataba wa Uelewa. Ushirikiano huu utaanzisha kozi tatu muhimu kwa mtaala wetu: Uongozi na Utatuzi wa Migogoro, Kozi ya Kiingereza kwa Watengenezaji wa Mabadiliko, na Ujasiriamali. General Comments:
The month was highly fruitful, with students showing extreme engagement and enhancement in both courses. The practical exercises in the Leadership and Conflict Resolution course permitted students to enhance their learning experience. Similarly, the communicating activities in the Basic English Course have significantly contributed to students’ language skills development.

This month showcased the impactful work being done in our program, alongside the challenges we face in resources and engagement. We are actively seeking support to overcome these hurdles and continue providing high-quality education and development opportunities to our children, women and community. We remain committed to our mission and look forward to the continued support from our community and partners.
