Food assistance was provided to some of the camp’s most at-risk groups, including elderly persons, widows, and people with disabilities, orphaned children, and single-parent households.

“One of the families supported is a widowed mother of five, including two orphaned relatives she cares for. With no income and limited mobility due to disability, she shared that this food package was ‘a miracle that came at the right time.’ Her children were able to eat a full meal for the first time in days.”
